The islands of the South Pacific have fed the world's fantasies for centuries now, since sailors first began returning from them with tales of beautiful maidens, crescent white-sand beaches, crystal-blue water, fish as colorful as  jewels and sunshine year round. As more people traveled to and through "The Antipodes," as this exotic new region on the other side of the earth was called, further wonders were revealed: snow-capped mountains, vast deserts, dense tropical forests and unique and gracious cultures.

We were first enchanted by the South Pacific over 30 years ago, when through our travels we discovered its incomparable beauty and the generous, genuine warmth of its people.
